Terms of Service

What the service is

Finplaid analyses public blockchain data and public signals to produce risk assessments about wallets, counterparties, transactions and deals. It is an informational tool for making your own decisions.

The service does not custody funds, does not exchange or trade assets, does not sign transactions and does not provide investment, legal or tax advice.

Risk disclaimer

A low risk score means no significant indicators were detected in the data available at the time of analysis. It is not a guarantee that a wallet, person or transaction is safe, lawful or free from illicit activity.

A high risk score indicates that potential risk indicators were detected. It is not a legal finding and does not establish that any person has committed an offence.

Blockchain data can be incomplete, delayed or ambiguous. Where confidence is low, the service reports that explicitly rather than inferring certainty.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to harass, defame or make public accusations against individuals, to circumvent sanctions or legal obligations, or to attempt to extract data about other users.

Automated access outside the documented API, attempts to bypass rate limits or plan quotas, and resale of results without a business agreement are not permitted.

Subscriptions and credits

Plans grant a monthly allowance of checks, credits and monitored wallets. Credits are consumed by specific operations and every change is recorded in a transaction ledger.

Subscriptions are billed for the period stated at checkout. Cancelling stops renewal; the current period remains active until it expires.

Availability

Analysis depends on third-party blockchain data providers. When a provider is unavailable, the service reports that clearly instead of presenting stale or fabricated data as current.

Security

Finplaid will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Any message claiming otherwise, in any channel, is an attack.

Finplaid provides automated risk assessments based on available blockchain and public data. Risk scores are informational and do not guarantee that a wallet, person or transaction is safe, legitimate or free from illicit activity.
